Pentalver Transport has been a respected container haulage and storage operator for over 20 years. The company has undergone unprecedented expansion during this time.

With facilities in Southampton, Felixstowe, Tilbury and Cannock, Pentalver operates a round-the-clock service from Monday morning through to Saturday lunchtime. Providing our customers with some of the best container facilities in the country.

Amongst our client base we can boast every major name in container shipping, APL, CMA-CGM, China Shipping, Hapag Lloyd, Maersk, Hyundai, Mitsui OSK, NYK, to name but a few.

Pentalver offer a wide range of container-related services which include:

  • Cargo Handling
    Pentalver has cargo handling facilities at Southampton, Felixstowe and Tilbury depots, specialising in breakbulk cargoes. Each depot also has a mobile unit for loading and unloading containers.

  • Road Haulage
    Pentalver operates a fleet of over 200 vehicles complimented by a further 60 plus dedicated sub-contractors. Many drivers are trained to carry dangerous goods and Pentalver is a government ‘Section 5’ approved haulier.

  • Container storage (full and empty)
    Storage facilities for both full and empty containers are available at all Pentalver depots. Power points are also available for temperature controlled units.

  • Container repairs
    A diverse range of container repairs and modifications can be undertaken at Southampton.

  • Refrigeration services (including repairs)
    Our team of refrigeration technicians based in Southampton are on call 24-7. Other services include steam cleaning and gen-set hire.

  • Container Sales
    Pentalver sales have over 20 years experience in container procurement and sales and are now the single largest importer of new build containers into the U.K.
